Arm reduction is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is performed to reduce the size of the arms by removing excess fat and skin from the upper arms.
The procedure is typically performed on patients who have experienced significant weight loss or have excess sagging skin due to ageing. An incision is made on the undersurface of the upper arm and excess skin and fat is removed and the wound sutured.
The recovery takes several weeks and you may be required to wear a compression garment. Other modalities may be used to promote healing and minimize the scar.
