Abdominoplasty
An abdominoplasty or Tummy Tuck is a cosmetic surgical procedure to remove excess skin and or fat from the abdominal area.
This may be required after rapid weight loss or after childbirth where the skin has been stretched.
A consultation will be arranged with Mr Salerno who is a Plastic Surgeon and a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has had the appropriate training to perform this operation and has had many years of experience as a Plastic surgeon.
He will listen to your concerns and discuss the procedure and the associated risks together with a realistic understanding of what can be achieved.
Sometimes liposuction may be required in conjunction with a tummy tuck to achieve best results.
It is always optimal to be at your goal weight before embarking on this type of surgery.
You will be given a written quote and a second consultation will be arranged so that you can consider all your options.
Recovery time can vary but you can expect it will take a few weeks.
